Partnership Students and teachers are invited to a fascinating talk from Colin Stuart, author.

Few people know that time travel isn’t just
possible – it has already been done.
In this mind-expanding talk, students will
hear the stories of the people who have
travelled into their own futures and lived to
tell the tale. And how they rely on the same
physics whenever they use the map on their smartphone.

But what does this say about our free will? Do
we have a choice about what happens
tomorrow? A set of time travel paradoxes
holds the answer: free will is a stubbornly persistent illusion.

This physics-meets-philosophy talk is
guaranteed to get students thinking deeply
and seeing the world anew (although they
were always going to anyway…)
