After School Careers Talk: Careers in Media

Students from across the OX14 Learning Partnership, in Years 10, 11 and Sixth Form, are warmly invited to attend this event co-hosted by Abingdon School and St Helen and St Katharine.

Come and gain an insight into a career in media:
– What is it like working as a journalist, radio/TV presenter, or director/producer/editor?
– What are key personal qualities and skills needed to succeed in a media career?
– What are the rewards and sacrifices of working in media?
– What are the different specialist occupations within media, and the different educational routes into each?

After School Careers Talks are especially useful to students interested in a profession, but unsure of what that would entail.
