Having more microorganisms living on you and in you than human cells makes them very important to our function. To learn more about this internal ecosystem we have the privilege of Dr James Kinross coming to speak about it. This will take place on the 3rd of June in the SLT during APT (starting at 5 pm).
Dr Kinross is a senior lecturer in colorectal surgery and a consultant surgeon at Imperial College London. He has recently published ‘Dark Matter’ which explores the intricate science of the microbiome. Signed copies will be available for purchase after his talk.
The talk would appeal to anyone interested in understanding more about the inner workings of our bodies and the impact the microbiome has on our health. Dr Kinross is a friendly and knowledgeable speaker and the talk promises to be fascinating.
