Pete Etchells is a professor of psychology and science communication at Bath Spa University\, author and science writer for New Scientist\, Science Focus\, The Guardian\, The New York Times\, The Telegraph and WIRED\, amongst others\, and consultant for BBC’s Horizon. To learn more about this internal ecosystem we have the privilege of Dr James Kinross coming to speak about it. This will take place on the 3rd of June in the SLT during APT (starting at 5 pm). \nDr Kinross is a senior lecturer in colorectal surgery and a consultant surgeon at Imperial College London. He has recently published ‘Dark Matter’ which explores the intricate science of the microbiome. DESCRIPTION:Existing PSLs are invited to attend a session on Peer support in the workplace. Peter Whitten  will give a unique perspective of how peer support is becoming increasingly relevant in a commercial setting.  The session will be held at Abingdon School on 23rd April\, 4-5pm and all existing PSLs are welcome to attend.
