SUMMARY:Business Language Challenge
DESCRIPTION:An exciting opportunity for Y10/11 linguists to take part in a team challenge in their chosen language. Students are invited to take part in this challenge day working on a fun business task with students from across the partnership. \n  \nWe are looking forward to running the Business Language Challenge for the fourth year as part of the OX14 Learning Partnership. The event received excellent feedback from students who were involved from across our schools last year and is free of charge to OX14 LP schools. The day is held at Abingdon school and led by external facilitators\, read  more here.   \nPlease see the details below: \nDate: Thursday 16th October\, 9 – 3.30pm \nLocation: Abingdon School \nY10/11 Linguists to be accompanied by a member of staff \nThis event will be an opportunity for students studying GCSE French\, German or Spanish to work together to complete several challenges. \nWe are inviting up to 12 students from each school to attend the day and we would welcome language students in Y10 or 11  who are also interested in business and international marketing and selling. \nThe day will include: \n\n\nA marketing and selling challenge \n\n\nA keynote talk \n\n\nLunch \n\n\nA presentation by students using their target language \n\n\nAn opportunity to talk to international business people \n\n\nWe hope this event will be of interest to you and your students\, Teachers\, please register via this form  by September 25th.
